Polished Concrete Overlays
Polishable cementitious overlays provide a new surface that can be mechanically ground, densified, honed, and polished much like conventional concrete — the look of new polished concrete without replacing the slab. Ideal when the existing slab has extensive repairs, discoloration, inconsistent aggregate exposure, or other conditions that make conventional polishing unsuitable.
Overlay or Polish Existing Concrete?
Not every slab needs an overlay. When the existing concrete is structurally and visually suitable, traditional concrete polishing may be the most efficient solution. When existing conditions prevent the desired appearance or performance, an overlay gives us the ability to create a new finish over the existing slab.
